Return Policy

Instore & Online

Each of our items are limited additions and hand made, so please choose carefully. As we do not accept returns or exchanges in store or online based on change of mind.

If you are unsure of your size, or have any questions, please feel free to contact us before placing your order.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, original tax and duty is non-refundable. You are responsible for return shipping charges and any duties payable.

What if my item is faulty ?

We are careful to ensure that our products are inspected before they are sent. Yet in the case of a damaged or defective item, we will repair, replace, issue a credit note or refund in keeping with Australian consumer law.

If you receive a faulty item, please notify us immediately. While your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are protected and honoured by us, you must always notify E.S.S Laboratorys within a reasonable time after you have detected that the item is defective.

We will not refund products that have been damaged due to wear and tear.
We do offer a repair service on garments that have been damaged due to wear and tear. Which you can view under our ABOUT section on the website, or call us on (03) 9495 2116 during in-store opening hours.

Due to the nature of the dyeing process, E.S.S Laboratory’s colours will vary between dye lots. This is not deemed as a fault. If you're unsure of a colour we recommend coming in-store.

How to Return a faulty Item :

You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us, this includes the tax and duty on the items.

Email: Shop@ess-laboratory.com with details of the fault, please include images if you can. we will then assess the fault and ask that you return the item to our store.

Items must be received in the original condition and must not have been worn, damaged, washed or dry cleaned or altered. Returned items must be received with their original receipt.

What if my item/s got lost in the post?

ESS Laboratory is not responsible for any lost or stolen items, ESS Laboratory recommends Registered Post (Signature on Delivery) if your address is not secure. Tracking is provided for all parcels. If you think your item has been lost or stolen please contact us at shop@esslaboratory.com and your local post office and provide your tracking number.
