Custom Orders

At E.S.S Laboratory we are able to offer custom orders typically within the frame of the items we have in store or designs we have within our archives. These generally take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks to be completed, depending on fabric availability and complexity. We will provide you with a more accurate lead time at time of order lodgement.

All our garments are hand crafted in our Fitzroy studio from the finest Japanese, Italian and Australian fabrics.

 Preferably we will arrange a time for you to come into our Fitzroy boutique to be measured up for a custom order, though we can take measurements over the phone if necessary.

Typical reasons for placing a custom order include:

- To have an existing in-stock style made for you, as we have run out of your size. 
- Garment outside our size range we ask for a fee of 10%, as more work is involved in its production.
- Garment we no longer stock we require a 10% charge.
- For garment with minor changes to the design (shortening hems, adding pockets, adding volume) we also require a 10% charge.
