The use of natural rattan is inspired by the rattan chair of interior designer Isamu Kenmochi. Each vine is carefully polished one by one and woven with the knots hidden on the inside, ensuring it is comfortable to wear. It is produced by one of the world's leading rattan craftsmen who also handles show collection pieces for ISSEY MIYAKE.
The surface is not coated and is finished as is, and the material will darken with use.
